Some might say that entering the Hampshire Championships ABT for your first competition, and the first shoot with your new gun might be taking on too much. Not one to be daunted I did it anyway!
Firstly the Fareham club was very welcoming to a complete novice at competative shooting. Thanks to the rest of my squad who put up with
my ignorance! The weather was not the best, rain for the first round, but it brightened up quickly enough and did not detract from a really enjoyable day. Congratulations to the new County Champions. Unfortunately my own paltry 19/100 did not really challenge the leaderboard all that much.
Never mind, from small acorns....
